Psytrance video: Sheyba - Trance Africa Express

If you were lucky enough to be listening to the DJ sets of Mike Maguire of Juno Reactor fame, during 1995 you would have heard him play this, alongside some of the greatest tunes ever to be released in the psytrance music scene. Trance Africa Express is a real gem from Sheyba.

Wow, 20 years after hearing this for the first time, I realize it sounds a-bit like Holymen's melodys from around the same time. Specifically the track Tarzan, same synth progression on the main riff. - Sick track, great post and throw back indeed!

Hi there,
Back in the mid-90' I had the chance to hear Mike Maguire one or two time and even the chance to record a mix while he was playing live on a French radio. No need to say that this tape was litteraly played a thousand times in my walkman (yes, it was the 90'). Mike maguire is more than a DJ, he's like a conductor. Every transition is uplifting, every track is a journey, every moment is an invite to dance... as I remember.
Yeah, remember only because I lost the tape while growing and skipping goa in the 00'.
So, if by any chance, someone would be kind enough to send me an URL where to find mixes from Mike Maguire that would be terrific! I'd love to listen to him again.
Thank you very much in advance.

PS: killer track by the way. Listening to it while typing... Feels a little bit like Astral Projection but more subtle.
ps2 : marketrash@g.m.a.i.l.c.o.m
thanks!
